RALPH H. FUSSNER

Ralph Fussner is Director of Sales and Marketing for North
American Security Solutions, Inc. (NASS), where he is responsible
for developing and implementing marketing strategies, identifying
prospective clients, securing new business, establishing sales
goals, and measuring and monitoring marketing progress.
Prior to joining NASS, Mr. Fussner served almost 30 years in the
Ohio State Highway Patrol. During his career with OSP, he rose
from trooper to the rank of lieutenant, retiring January 12, 1990
as Post Commander of the Xenia Ohio State Patrol Post.
After retirement from OSP, Mr. Fussner accepted leadership
positions in both city and state governments. He successfully
undertook upper-level management responsibilities in Human
Resources and Personnel, specializing in labor relations,
arbitration, and contract negotiations. He was employed for
approximately one year by the City of Xenia as Director of
Communications. Then, in 1992, he accepted a position at the Ohio
Veteran's Children's Home (OVCH), also in Xenia. He acted in many
capacities while employed at OVCH, including superintendent of the
facility.
Between leaving OVCH in 1993 and coming to NASS, Mr. Fussner
directed all sales and marketing efforts for a national
investigative and security company that specialized in undercover
drug investigations.
Mr. Fussner has an extensive background in criminal justice. He
attended the University of Wittenberg, the University of
Cincinnati, and numerous schools related to criminal
investigations. He was a law enforcement columnist and wrote a
weekly column for several Dayton, Ohio area newspapers. He has
established, directed, and coordinated many safety programs,
dealing with the abuse of drugs and alcohol. In addition, he
authored the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Officer/Coach Field
Training Guide which is currently used to train all new troopers
in the State of Ohio.
Mr. Fussner has traveled extensively throughout the United States
on public speaking engagements. He has conducted thousands of
programs and is a much sought-after public speaker. He received
numerous departmental and civic awards during his career and was
applauded in the 1990 Congressional Record, cited on the floor of
the United States House of Representatives.
Mr. Fussner was president of the Greene County Law enforcement
Association in Greene County, Ohio and is a "Kentucky Colonel" and
a Councilman with the City of Bellbrook, Ohio. He has been married
to his wife, Marjorie for 36 years and has three children, David,
Darren , and Dana. Darren is also an Ohio State Trooper.
