Flood Plain Maps

In 2015, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has launched a re-study of the City of Bellbrook’s floodways and floodplains using new topographic data and as a result has updated the Flood Insurance Rate Maps. FEMA has conducted new engineering studies in Greene County in a number of waterways including the Little MIami River and the Little Sugarcreek which both have an impact on Bellbrook. These updated preliminary maps were released in September of 2019 and are currently in the process of being revised and approved as necessary. The new maps will be effective in the spring of 2021.

We advise property owners to review the current map changes on the following website: https://fema.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=e7a7dc3ebd7f4ad39bb8e485bb64ce44

Once the City of Bellbrook receives the list of properties affected by the changes, a letter will be mailed out notifying property owners.
