Board of Zoning Appeals & Property Review Commission

The Board consists of five members appointed for overlapping terms of five years with a term limit of two full consecutive terms.  The Board meets on the third Tuesday at 6:30pmof each month depending on cases.  The Board is quasi-judicial in nature hearing and making determinations on appeals from administrative decisions, petitions for variances from zoning and other such matters as may be required by Council or the law. 

The Board also serves as the Property Review Commission who hears cases to review suspected violations, appeals and violation orders of the property maintenance code.
