Recycling
The City contracts with Rumpke to provide waste and recycling services for all city residents. Waste collection fees are billed quarterly along with your water service. Regular waste collection (trash and recycling) is every Friday except for major holidays. Please see our Waste Collection page for the current holiday pickup schedule.
Recycling Collection

The City of Bellbrook is concerned for the environment and wants to do its part in protecting it for future generations. Therefore, the City has a recycling program to encourage more recycling while reducing emissions and truck traffic on City streets.

 

Recycling Program Key Points

 

- Recycling pick up is every week (Fridays)

- Every resident is entitled to one recycling tote free of charge

- The recycling tote has a lid and wheels for easy handling

- The City of Bellbrook distributes recycling totes

- Call the Utility Billing Office at (937) 848-4638 if you do not want a recycling tote

Hours of Operation
Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am to 6 pm
Friday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Saturday: 9 am to 4 pm

Items accepted: plastic, unbroken glass, paper, cardboard, batteries, cell phones, mercury
* Mercury must be in 2 zip-lock plastic bags and given to staff.  Cell phones must be given to staff.
